About The Pathway Review
The Pathway Review is an independent, non-partisan interview publication about public life and the people who help shape it.
We interview public officials, journalists, scholars, judges, diplomats, policy practitioners, and other professionals about two things: the work they do, and the path that brought them there.
The aim is to inform — for readers trying to understand a field, and for anyone deciding what kind of work to pursue.
Past guests include a former U.S. Secretary of Defense, the former president of the Council on Foreign Relations, a Deputy National Security Advisor for Strategy, multiple U.S. ambassadors, a sitting member of Congress, and Pulitzer Prize–winning journalists and historians — alongside scholars, reporters, and public servants doing serious work across foreign affairs, politics, economics, law, and the press.
The Pathway Review is edited by Ben Wolf, who founded it as The Pathway Blog in 2023.

About the Editor
Ben Wolf is the founder and editor of The Pathway Review. He is an Altman Scholar at Tulane University, where he studies Political Economy (B.A.) and Finance (B.S.M.). He is also pursuing minors in History and French. Through The Pathway Review, he interviews leaders across public life to better understand how serious careers are built, how institutions work from the inside, and what meaningful professional service actually looks like.
His interests include foreign policy, journalism, markets, law, diplomacy, and public service. The publication began as a student-led interview project and has grown into a broader effort to make high-level career and public affairs conversations accessible to students, young professionals, and curious readers.
