Enhanced Behavioral Health Options Plan (EBHOP)
The Enhanced Behavioral Health Options Plan (EBHOP) manages the precertification and concurrent review of outpatient therapy, psychiatric admissions (including partial hospitalization) and substance abuse admission. Behavioral Health Nurse Case Managers with years of experience and expertise in the area of behavioral health provide the management of this program. Pathway Review Systems utilizes alternative care options and community resources when appropriate. Community resources may be limited to geographical location and community funding. The alternative care options and home health care coordination may be limited by the patient's benefit plan.
Pathway Review Systems supports short-term, solution focused therapy within the outpatient arena. Chronic, long-term behavioral health diagnoses, which are usually not amenable to therapy, are referred to community resources when available.
